%X En esta novela encontramos un mundo dicotómico en el que las víctimas y el asesino de un crimen ocurrido hace veinte años trasladan puntualmente a algunos de los protagonistas a un tiempo pasado. Además, junto con la atracción y el pánico por las tormentas que sienten varios personajes o el miedo a morir a causa de una picadura de avispa, la violencia de género sobre mujeres y niños emerge como un paradigma recurrente, mientras que en una historia paralela el vacío existencial y la rabia que siente un adolescente a causa del desprecio de su padre desencadenan en él un instinto homicida que necesita desahogar mediante la pintura de grafitis. Analizando el texto se detecta una doble écfrasis: la descripción de estos grafitis y la transmisión de una vívida metáfora sobre la luz que desafía a las tinieblas.
%X In this novel there is a dichotomic world where the victims and the murder of a crime which happened 20 years ago sometimes move some of the protagonists to a past time. Besides, along with the attraction and panic for storms that some of the characters feel or the fear of dying because of a wasp puncture, the violence over women and children emerge as a recurrent paradigm, while in a parallel story the existential emptiness and the rage that un adolescent feels because of his father despise trigger a homicidal impulse which he needs to release by painting graffiti. Through the text analysis a double ekphrasis is detected: the description of these graffiti and the transmission of a vivid metaphor about light defying darkness.
