AB Francisco de Luxán fue un científico, militar y político español del Partido Progresista, que entre 1842 y 1843 fue profesor de la reina Isabel II. En el memorial de palacio que, en 2017, se publica por primera vez, Francisco de Luxán recogió las circunstancias de su nombramiento como profesor, su valoración sobre los conocimientos previos de la Reina y el contenido diario de sus lecciones.
AB Francisco de Luxán was a Spanish scientist, military, and politician that belonged to the Progressive Party. Between 1842 and 1843 he was the teacher of the Queen Isabel II. In the Palace Memories, published for the first time in 2017, Francisco de Luxán gathered the circumstances surrounding his appointment as the queen’s teacher, the queen’s previous knowledge and the content of the their daily lectures.
