%X El análisis fractal es una herramienta compleja y útil para describir y comprender la naturaleza del comportamiento de una variable, permitiendo distinguirla y clasificarla respecto a conductas aleatorias, así como identificar los comportamientos más destacables que la caractericen.El objetivo principal de este trabajo consiste en el estudio fractal de la precipitación en España. Con este fin, se desarrollan conceptos teóricos que permiten comprender las características más importantes de los objetos fractales, así como la conexión de estos con el exponente de Hurst, lo que deriva en el nombre del estudio, el análisis fractal. Se introduce además el concepto de multifractalidad, que junto al método MFDFA es capaz de identificar conductas alejadas de una estructura fractal pura, es decir, de propiedades exactamente autosimilares.El estudio realizado permite determinar características en el comportamiento de la precipitación en el país, e identificar la función y finalidad de las herramientas del análisis fractal para esta variable.
%X Fractal analysis is a complex and useful tool to describe and understand the nature of the behavior of a variable, allowing it to be distinguished and classified with respect to random behaviors, as well as to identify the most remarkable behaviors that caracterize it.The main objective of this work consists of fractal study of precipitation in Spain. For this purpose, theoretical concepts are developed that alow to understand the most important characteristics of fractal objects, as well as their connection with Hurst exponent, which leads to the name of the study, fractal analysis. The concept of multifractality is also introduced, which together with the MFDFA method is able to identify behiviors that are far from a pure fractal structure, that is to say, far from exactly self-similar properties.The study carried out makes it possible to determine characteristics in the precipitation behavior in the country, and to identify the function and the purpose of the fractal analysis tools for this variable.
