RT Journal Article T1 Nickel basic salts as inorganic precursors in theproduction of nickel A1 López Delgado, Aurora A1 López Andrés, Sol A1 García Martínez, O. A1 Millán Pastor, María Pilar A1 Rojas, R.M. AB The utilization of some nickel basic salts, nickel hydroxychloride and nickel hydroxynitrate, asinorganic precursors in the obtention of nickel powder, has been studied. When thesematerials are thermally decomposed in an X-ray high-temperature diffraction chamber, purenickel is formed as the only compound at about 700°C but if nickel hydroxide is the startingmaterial, small amounts of nickel oxide are always present even if the temperature is raised upto 900" C.
