AB A straightforward unprecedented sublimation protocol thatreveals both conversion of a racemic compound into a racemicconglomerate and subsequent enantioenrichment has been developedfor the proteinogenic amino acid valine. The phenomenonhas been observed in closed and open systems, providing insightinto asymmetric amplification mechanisms under presumablyprebiotic conditions.
