T1 Lines and nets: models of filamentary structures

AB We shall recall some reaction-difussion models which have been used to describe the growth of net-like structures, mainly in a biological context. In particular, a modified activator-inhibitor system proposed by Hans Meinhardt in 1976 will be considered, and some properties of their solutions will be analyzed
