T1 La otra película: intervención del autor en la comprensión del texto fílmico

AB La lectura individual de una película, favorecida por la aparición de nuevos soportes como el DVD hace necesario introducir el análisis de una historia paralela que funciona agrandando, comentando, informando o deconstruyendo la película terminada para un espectador deseoso de saber más acerca de la película y de sus creadores.Por encima de la cualidad publicitaria de ese material complementario, nos interesa su habilidad para coexistir con la película, al ser consumido antes o después del visionado de esta. También cómo cambia el acceso a la película y cómo dirige la atención y la empatía del público. Escogemos la película Caché (Michael Haneke, 2005) para ilustrar las decisiones del autor sobre la interpretación que la audiencia debe darle al texto.
AB The individual viewing of a film, facilitated by the emergence of new media such as DVD, makes it necessary to introduce the analysis of a parallel story that works by expanding, commenting on, informing or deconstructing the finished film for viewers eager to learn more about the film and its creators.Beyond the promotional value of this supplementary material, we are interested in its ability to coexist with the film, as it is consumed either before or after viewing the film. We are also interested in how it changes access to the film and how it directs the audience's attention and empathy. We have chosen the film Caché (Michael Haneke, 2005) to illustrate the author's decisions regarding the audience's interpretation of the text.
