AB El presente artículo analiza la brecha de género en el reconocimiento de las enfermedades profesionales dentro del sistema de Seguridad Social español. A partir de un enfoque crítico del marco normativo y de un análisis de la jurisprudencia reciente del Tribunal Supremo, se evidencian las limitaciones de la normativa vigente para proteger adecuadamente a las trabajadoras de profesiones feminizadas. Se proponen reformas orientadas a integrar la perspectiva de género, mejorar la prevención y garantizar una protección social más equitativa.
AB This article examines the gender gap in the recognition of occupational diseases within the Spanish Social Security system. Through a critical analysis of the regulatory framework and recent case law from the Supreme Court, it highlights the limitations of the current legislation in adequately protecting female workers in highly feminized professions. The article proposes reforms aimed at integrating a gender perspective, enhancing prevention measures, and ensuring more equitable social protection.
