AB Esta tesis doctoral lleva por título El quijotismo del personaje dramático en la obra de Eduardo De Filippo. Se estructura en nueve puntos, que incluyen la introducción y las conclusiones. La primera parte de la tesis, que comprende los capítulos segundo, tercero y cuarto, tiene como objetivo identificar los rasgos principales del quijotismo a través de una revisión teórica que abarca las definiciones sobre lo cómico y lo humorístico que surgen en el contexto europeo de principios del siglo XX. Se hace especial énfasis en el panorama italiano y en el español. Las características más destacables propias del personaje arquetipo del Quijote que se han individualizado se aplicarán al arquetipo de la dramaturgia eduardiana en el capítulo séptimo...
AB This doctoral dissertation is entitled Quixotic Traits of the Theatrical Character in the Works by Eduardo De Filippo. It is organized into nine sections, including the introduction and the conclusions. The first part of the study comprises Chapters Two, Three, and Four, and its aim is to identify the main characteristics of Quixotism through a theoretical review of various definitions of comedy and humour that emerged in Europe during early twentieth century. This research focuses especially on the Italian and Spanish contexts. The most salient characteristics of the Quixotic archetype, previously identified in the first chapters of the thesis, are compared in Chapter seven with the main traits of the theatrical archetype in De Filippo’s works...
