T1 Chile se rediseña: breve balance de cambios en las reglas electorales

AB Ante el proceso constituyente al que Chile se enfrenta, el artículo propone una actualización de las últimas modificaciones que se han llevado a cabo en el ámbito electoral. Se presentan cuatro reformas de distinta índole, que recogen reivindicaciones históricas de la sociedad chilena y también de la literatura especializada en efectos de la normativa electoral. Además de describir su contenido, se valorará brevemente la contribución desigual a la mejora de las dimensiones de participación y de decisión electoral, a la vez que son una señal del aumento de la responsiveness de la democracia chilena
AB Considering the constitutional process that Chile is facing, this article proposes an update of the latest changes that have been taken place in the electoral field. Four reforms of different kinds are presented, they gather historic recognitions of the Chilean society as well as the specialized literature in the effects of the electoral rules. Besides describing its content, it will briefly evaluate the unequal contribution towards the improvement of the aspects of participation and electoral decision, while they are a sign of the increase of responsiveness in the Chilean democracy
