This study analyzes the initial audiodescription (AD) scripts produced by students from two master’s programs (UE and UCM) after receiving specific training. The tasks involveddescribing two short clips with distinct challenges: one with extensive dialogue and action, and another without dialogue but with music. The analysis focused on students’ ability to select relevant information, use clear language, and adapt to the targetaudience. Results show greater accuracy in more constrained contexts. Future directions in training and research are also discussed.
