T1 Realización y dirección de programas dramáticos en Televisión Española (1956-1975): acercamiento a la figura del realizador audiovisual

AB En esta investigación se aborda uno de los temas más importantes relacionados con la televisión, la realización de programas, y concretamente, la figura del realizador audiovisual. El realizador es el responsable de seleccionar la acción que sucede ante las cámaras, busca y elige la imagen adecuada y precisa para contar a los espectadores una historia o noticia. El realizador es el puente que ha de cruzar la imagen, en una trayectoria subjetiva, desde el plató o la calle para mostrar en la pantalla la imagen seleccionada. Y precisamente de la trascendencia y responsabilidad de ese trabajo surge la importancia del tema aquí tratado. Se pretende efectuar un estudio exhaustivo del trabajo desempeñado por el realizador de programas dramáticos en Televisión Española durante el período 1956-1975, categoría bajo la cual situaremos a nuestro objeto de análisis, el teatro, coincidiendo con su auge y declive en televisión. El estudio se centrará en los programas teatrales, como subgénero de los dramáticos, y en ver el procedimiento de trabajo de los realizadores de televisión en estos programas, estudiando las técnicas de realización utilizadas, a través de su trabajo cotidiano. El principal objetivo de la tesis consiste en el estudio de la presencia de las artes escénicas en televisión y el teatro, en particular, atendiendo al campo específico de las técnicas de realización y dirección de espacios dramáticos desde el punto de vista de la figura del realizador de programas...
AB This research deals with one of the most relevant topics related to television, the production of TV programmes and, more exactly, the figure of the audioviosual producer. He is responsible for the selection of the action taking place in front of the cameras. He aims to find and cast out the most suitable and illustrative shot or image to transmit a story or piece of news to the spectators. He, by means of his accurate selection of the most appropriate image, is meant to be a subjective link or “bridge” between the TV set or the real place where the action is being shot and the final result on screen. It is precisely the relevance and responsibility of his task what gives way to the birth of this essay. The present thesis attempts to offer an in-depth analysis of the work carried out by the producer of dramatic programmes in the Spanish Television between 1956-1975 when our subject matter, the theatre, suffered both its highest degree of splendor and decline on television. It also concentrates on theatre programmes, regarding them as a subgenre of the dramatic ones. Furthermore, we will also go deep into the study of the work procedure and routines of the television producers of this sort of programmes paying special attention to the production techniques which are used in their everyday work...
