T1 Personnel selection and artificial intelligence: An ethical perspective

AB La selección de personal forma parte de los procesos y tareas que realiza una empresa para asegurar la contratación de profesionales que cumplan con las diferentes necesidades de sus puestos. Para poder realizar esta función de manera óptima y obtener una ventaja competitiva frente al resto de empresas, éstas se valen de la utilización de herramientas tecnológicas que mejoren, aceleren, u optimicen cada uno de sus procesos. Dentro de dichas herramientas, las relacionadas con el uso de la inteligencia artificial (IA) están irrumpiendo en la práctica laboral. A lo largo de las páginas de este trabajo, se revisarán los elementos o técnicas del proceso de selección que más se están viendo afectados por las herramientas tecnológicas y de IA, qué herramientas son las que más efecto están teniendo en la transformación tecnológica de la selección, y se analizarán las cuestiones éticas que surgen de esta transformación.
AB Personnel selection is part of the processes and tasks conducted by a company to ensure the hiring of professionals who meet the various needs of its positions. To perform this function optimally and gain a competitive advantage over other companies, organizations rely on the use of technological tools that improve, accelerate, or optimize each of their processes. Among these tools, those related to artificial intelligence are breaking into the workplace. Throughout the pages of this paper, we will examine the elements or techniques of the selection process that are being most affected by technological and AI tools, identify which tools are having the greatest impact on the technological transformation of recruitment, and analyze the ethical issues that arise from this transformation.
