RT Journal Article T1 Identification of a novel protein allergen in Mediterranean silverside fish species A1 González-Mancebo, Eloina A1 Gandolfo-Cano, Mar A1 González-de-Olano, David A1 Mohedano-Vicente, Ester A1 Bartolome, Borja A1 Pastor Vargas, Carlos AB Fish is one of the most common causes of food allergies. The main risk factors for fish allergy are atopy and exposure to fish. As new fish species are introduced into diets, allergic reactions begin to emerge. Parvalbumins are the major fish allergens, with molecular masses of 15 to 20 kDa. 1 However, other allergens that could be responsible for allergic responses to a single fish species have been identified. 2 , 3 PB Elsevier SN 1081-1206 YR 2014 FD 2014 LK https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14352/107311 UL https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14352/107311 LA eng NO González-Mancebo E, Gandolfo-Cano M, González-de-Olano D, Mohedano-Vicente E, Bartolome B, Pastor-Vargas C.
