AB La difusión del sello como instrumento de validación documental, coincidió con la creación de las instituciones concejiles andaluzas con ocasión de la conquista castellana del valle del Guadalquivir. La instauración del modelo concejil en Andalucía supuso la creación de nuevas instituciones, que necesitaron de sellos diplomáticos para la expedición de sus documentos. En este trabajo se ahonda sobre las improntas de los concejos de Córdoba, Sevilla y Cádiz, su creación y su uso como instrumento garante del negocio documentado, analizándose algunas de sus particularidades representativas más significativas.
AB The diffusion of the seal as an instrument of documentary validation, coincided with the creation of the Andalusian council institutions on the occasion of the Castilian conquest of the Guadalquivir valley. The establishment of the council model in Andalusia led to the creation of new institutions, which required diplomatic seals for the issuance of their documents. This paper delves into the imprints of the councils of Córdoba, Sevilla and Cádiz, their creation and their use as guarantee instrument of the documented facts, analyzing some of their most significant representative characteristics
