AB La presente investigación titulada: La fotografía como representación de la realidad social: estudio del fondo fotográfico de Pulso diario de San Luis, se enfoca el estudio de la fotografía de prensa, partiendo de la relevancia que ésta tiene para el lector, al reflejar a través de imágenes, el acontecer de la sociedad actual y con ello entender el actuar de las personas en su rol individual y colectivo. Pulso, Diario independiente fundado en el año de 1988 como medio informativo para la sociedad potosina, ha integrado desde sus orígenes el uso de la fotografía como elemento que permite registrar e ilustrar el acontecer del contexto local, nacional e internacional con una visión clara y objetiva de los hechos, de ahí la importancia de estudiar el uso de la fotografía en sus ediciones y destacar la imperante necesidad de gestionar y preservar su fondo fotográfico...
AB This research entitled: Photography as a representation of social reality: study of the photographic background of the daily pulse of San Luis, focuses on the study of press photography, based on the relevance it has for the reader, reflecting through of images, the events of today's society and thereby understand the actions of people in their individual and collective role.Pulso, an independent newspaper founded in 1988 as an informative medium for potosina society, has since its inception integrated the use of photography as an element that allows recording and illustrating the occurrence of the local, national and international context with a clear and objective vision of the facts, hence the importance of studying the use of photography in its editions and highlighting the imperative need to manage and preserve its photographic background...
