AB Las fronteras representan un fenómeno político característico del mundo moderno y su estudio constituye una línea de exploración constante en diferentes disciplinas de las ciencias sociales. En concreto, las páginas de la presente investigación examinan las tramas fronterizas articuladas a través de la circunstancia espacial limítrofe entre España y Portugal, que demarca sus correspondientes territorialidades peninsulares, con el propósito de sondear los continuos procesos de fronterización durante la etapa comprendida entre los años 1931-1975.La longevidad histórica de la Raya/Raia ibérica favorece las imágenes naturalizadas de un elemento político fundado sobre los principios relativos al poder estatal dibujado por el orden westfaliano. La prospección de las disertaciones formuladas por las elites dirigentes y los razonamientos expresados por los órganos centrales de los partidos comunistas luso-españoles permiten discernir el carácter arbitrario, ambiguo, inestable y contradictorio de los significados fronterizos a través de la perspectiva del análisis crítico del discurso...
AB Borders represent a political phenomenon characteristic of the modern world, and their study constitutes a constant line of exploration in different disciplines of the social sciences. Specifically, the pages of the present research examine the border plots articulated through the spatial boundary circumstance between Spain and Portugal, which demarcates their corresponding peninsular territorialities. This, with the purpose of probing the continuous processes of borderization during the period from 1931 to 1975.The historical longevity of the Iberian Raya/Raia favors the naturalized images of a political element founded on the principles related to the state power drawn by the Westphalian order. The prospection of the dissertations formulated by the leading elites and the reasonings expressed by the central organs of the Portuguese-Spanish communist parties allow to discern the arbitrary, ambiguous, unstable, and contradictory character of the border meanings through the perspective of the critical analysis of the discourse...
