AB El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el discurso político sobre género en la campaña electoral del PSOE y Vox en las elecciones del 28A en España. Con este fin, nos centramos en los mensajes en la red social Twitter entre los días 12 y 26 de abril de 2019 a través de un estudio cualitativo. El análisis de los dos partidos políticos constata una creciente polarización política y social, especialmente acentuada en cuestiones de género y en derechos de las mujeres. Se ha optado por estas dos fuerzas por considerarlas antagónicas en su discurso sobre el tema y por sus diferentes posiciones políticas (Gobierno y oposición). La polarización en los discursos encontró reflejo en la red social donde el PSOE utilizó hashtags como #LaEspañaQueQuieresEsFeminista, #NiUnPasoAtrás, #NoEsNo, mientras Vox apostó por #NoHablesEnMiNombre, #FueraChiringuitosDeGénero o #FemiMarxistas.
AB The aim of this research is to analyze the political discourse about gender in the electoral campaign of PSOE and Vox in the 28A general elections in Spain. For this, we study the messages on the social network Twitter between April 12 and 26, in 2019 through a qualitative study. The analysis of the two political parties confirms a growing political and social polarization, especially accentuatedin gender issues and women’s rights. These two forces have been chosen because they are considered antagonistic in their discourse on the subject and because of their different political positions (Government and opposition). The polarization in the discourses was reflected in the social network where the PSOE used hashtags such as #LaEspañaQueQuieresEsFeminista, #NiUnPasoAtrás, #NoEsNo,while Vox chose #NoHablesEnMiNombre, #FueraChiringuitosDeGénero or #FemiMarxistas.
