AB El vulcanismo reciente de la península ibérica aparece a lo largo de su borde mediterráneo y en la meseta sur. Se caracteriza por su variedad composicional: desde toleítico, calcoalcalino, shoshonítico y lamproítico el más antiguo y meridional a alcalino el más reciente y de distribución más amplia.
AB Recent volcanism in the Iberian Peninsula is concentrated in the Mediterranean border and in the southern Meseta. Volcanism is characterised by its variety in composition. The oldest and southernmost is tholeitic, calc-alkaline, shoshonitic and lamproitic. The most recent and the one with the widest distribution is alkaline
