AB En la colección de  Incunables de la Biblioteca Histórica  se encuentra la edición  príncipe de las  comedias de Aristófanes. BH INC I-327. Conocida como Edición Aldina fue publicada en 1498  por el  impresor veneciano Aldo Manucio  siguiendo la escritura griega de la época. Esta edición  sentará las bases de las ediciones impresas posteriores y su consulta  es esencial  para cualquier estudio de la obra de Aristófanes que se aborde en la actualidad. El autor griego  nos proporciona, en clave de comedia,  los elementos necesarios para entender la sociedad ateniense del siglo V y el proceso político que se está produciendo en la Atenas de Pericles. Este trabajo revisa además las ediciones posteriores de la obra de Aristófanes  disponibles en la Biblioteca Histórica. [ABSTRACT] Heritage Library maintains in the Incunabula collection the first edition of the comedies of Aristophanes. BH INC I-327. It is known as Aldine Edition and was published in 1498 by the Venetian printer Aldus Manutius following the Greek writing in this time. This edition is indispensable for subsequentprinted editions, and it is also essential for any study of Aristophanes' work. The Aristophanes' comedy provides the key to understand the Fifth Century in the Ancient Greece, the political process that took place in the Athens of Pericles. There is as well, a critical review of the later editions by this classical author available at the Heritage Library.
