%X El objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado es abordar la vinculación existente entre la necesidad de conseguir un estado real de igualdad de género en todos los ámbitos de la vida a través de la educación. La educación actual normaliza la desigualdad y, aunque existan leyes a favor de la igualdad de género, realmente no se lleva a la práctica. Para ello, se hace una revisión de las diferentes formas en las que se manifiesta el sexismo y de cómo a pesar de lo mucho que ha cambiado la situación de las mujeres en los últimos años, se siguen perpetuando los roles de género y los estereotipos, y de cómo la escuela es uno de los medios de la transmisión de estos de una manera indirecta. También se pretende mostrar algunas de las consecuencias a largo plazo que conlleva vivir en una sociedad patriarcal. Por esta razón, es necesario un cambio orientado hacia la igualdad en la práctica educativa que incluya a todas las personas involucradas y permita desarrollar una educación sin discriminación para conseguir una sociedad más justa y equitativa.
%X The aim of this final dissertation is to address the relations between the necessity of getting a real gender equality state in every single aspect of life, and of achieving so through education. Nowadays education normalizes inequality and, even though there are laws that promote gender equality, the truth is they are never really applied. In order to, achieve this, a revision of the different ways in which sexism is manifested is done, along with the fact that, in spite of the change that the situation of women has undergone over the last year, gender roles and stereotypes are still perpetuated, being the schools and education centres one of the institutions indirectly transmitting and perpetuating these. It is also intended to show some of the long-term consequences that living in such a patriarchal society promotes. Due to this reason, a change promoting equality in the education field is needed; a change that includes everyone that takes part in such field, and a change that allows the development of an education free of discrimination, the main objective being the achievement of a fairer and more equative society.
