T1 Conexionismo: una útil herramienta para otras ciencias y un problemático modelo para la psicología

AB Cuando se habla de “conexionismo” o “teoría conexionista” nos estamos refiriendo a una rama de las Neurociencias y de las Ciencias cognitivas que surgió hace algunas décadas como alternativa minoritaria a la IA (inteligencia artificial). Las redes neuronales artificiales fueron originalmente un intento de simulación abstractade los sistemas nerviosos biológicos. Sin embargo, no es fácil que haya un modelo completamente satisfactorio. Como conclusión se afirma que la Teoría de redes y la Psicología cognitiva se desarrollan al margen de una serie de cuestiones filosóficamente problemáticas pensando, quizá, que se podrá dar cuenta de ellas cuando el problema de fondo (la relación mente-cerebro) se haya resuelto.[ABSTRACT]When we talk about “conexionist theory” we are talking about a section of Neurosciences and Cognitive Sciences. Artificial Neural Nets born to be an alternativeto AI (Artificial Intelligence) and a model of Biological Neural Nets. But, it seems that’s not possible get a model without any problem. The conclusion of the article: the Artificial Neural Nets Theory and the Cognitive Psychology wants to give new explanations without studying all that philosophical problems (mind-brain relationship) because, maybe, these Scientifics believe that those problems can have a solution at the final conclusions of the Cognitive investigations.
