%X Este volumen que se presenta con el título Economía y Técnica de la Seguridad Social sitúa la protección social en España desde un aspecto no sólo normativo sino haciendo alusión a algunas de las técnicas utilizadas en su diseño, desde aspecto referidos al riesgo y las técnicas de cobertura de las necesidades sociales a la descripción de las principales prestaciones. El sistema de Seguridad Social se encuentra en continua evolución, habida cuenta de las necesarias adaptaciones que requiere, para acomodarse a las nuevas y cambiantes realidades sociales. Aparecen una secuencia de actuaciones que, partiendo del concepto de riesgo como elemento causal de la relación de aseguramiento, se estudia la evolución de las distintas formas de previsión social que configuraron el actual sistema de Seguridad Social que, una vez incardinada  en el ámbito internacional,  su estructura y organización, se describe la acción protectora vigente hasta el año 2015, con su incidencia económica.
%X This volume entitled Social Security Economy and Technique presents the social protection in Spain not only from a normative point of view, but also includes some techniques used in its design that takes into account the risk and the coverage techniques of the social needs, and the description of the main benefits.The Social Security System is progressing continuously due to the necessary adaptations that are required to adjust it to the new and changeable social realities.  A sequence of actions is shown, bearing in mind that the risk is the origin of the insurance relationship. In addition, the evolution of several types of social welfare that form the present Security Social system is studied. Once its structure and organization have been integrated in the international ambit, the protective action in place until 2015 and its economic impact is described.
