Compositions vary between picrite and trachybasalt. Thelithologic and geochemical variability of these rocks indicates that they were generated mainly by fractionalcrystalization. The recognition of several evolution cycles suggests the involvement of other processesthat modify the general fractional crystallization trend. %~
