AB El lenguaje empleado por los tribunales de Justicia en las resoluciones judiciales suele suscitar un dilema: optar entre la redacción más acorde con la precisión técnica o bien por una terminología fácil de comprender para los ciudadanos. Por supuesto, la solución ideal a esta disyuntiva consiste en congeniar ambas alternativas consiguiendo sentencias de alta calidad jurídica y, al mismo tiempo, cómodamente inteligibles para cualquiera. Una respuesta tan obvia ha sido reclamada en varias ocasiones por el Ministerio de Justicia, pero sin aportar medios apropiados para ello y sin tener por completo en cuenta los verdaderos requerimientos de la seguridad jurídica. Tras varios intentos fallidos, por fin hoy estamos en el buen camino gracias a los recientes trabajos conjuntos de la Real Academia Española (RAE) y del Consejo General del Poder Judicial (CGPJ).

NO The language employed by the Courts of Justice in their judicial decisions often presents a dilemma: whether to opt for wording that adheres closely to technical precision or terminology that is easily comprehensible to citizens. Naturally, the ideal resolution to this predicament lies in reconciling both alternatives, thereby producing judgments of high legal quality that are simultaneously accessible to all. Although the Ministry of Justice has advocated for such an approach on numerous occasions, it has failed to provide adequate means for achieving this objective, nor has it fully considered the genuine requirements of legal certainty. After several unsuccessful attempts, we are now finally making progress, thanks to the recent collaborative efforts of the Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) and the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ).
