AB El artículo estudia el libro de grabados conocido como Petit Marot del arquitecto y grabador Jean Marot (1619-1679), ubicado en la Biblioteca Histórica de la Universidad Complutense “Marqués de Valdecilla”. Analiza distintos aspectos de algunos de los edificios representados para poder comprender el porqué de su presencia en el compendio, la técnica empleada, la datación, así como el estado de conservación del ejemplar.
AB This article examines in detail the book of engravings known as "Petit Marot" byarchitect and engraver Jean Marot (1619-1679) located in the Biblioteca Histórica “Marqués de Valdecilla”, Complutense University of Madrid. This article also analyses different aspects of some of the depicted buildings in that book in order to understand their presence in it, the technique used and the dating as well as the state of preservation of the book.
