The study of Last and Present Interglacial depositsin the Iberian Peninsula reveals that there are short-term sea-level oscillations superimposed to longertermperiodicities. Although short-term periodicities, as those observed in spit-bar units, are vital forcoastal management, longer-term changes should not be discarded.
