AB Sampling for dating coastal units anci quantdying processes 15 ollly possible and rewarding afterdetailed mapping and morphosedimentary analysis. The study of Last and Present Interglacial depositsin the Iberian Peninsula reveals that there are short-term sea-level oscillations superimposed to longertermperiodicities. Although short-term periodicities, as those observed in spit-bar units, are vital forcoastal management, longer-term changes should not be discarded.
