AB Tras un desastre, la atención psicológica a las víctimas, sean directas o indirectas, es indispensable. Cada vez hay más evidencia científica sobre los beneficios que tiene esta asistencia en los primeros momentos tras el incidente. Sin embargo, la gestión de la asistencia psicológica en emergencias está aún en desarrollo y las organizaciones que la prestan tienen protocolos muy diferentes entre sí. En este artículo, se pretende realizar un protocolo genérico para un eventual desastre en España. Tras la revisión de bibliografía relacionada con la psicología en emergencias, y la comparación de los diferentes protocolos, se ha creado un protocolo genérico, adaptándolo al territorio español. Posteriormente, se ha realizado una consulta con expertos de los aspectos más importantes de este protocolo para corregir sus puntos débiles. Tras todo este proceso se concluye, por un lado, que los expertos no están de acuerdo con la inclusión de personal voluntario en la atención de emergencias, y por otro, que no existe una fórmula exacta para el cálculo del personal necesario.

NO After a disaster, psychological care for victims, whether direct or indirect, is essential. There is more and more scientific evidence about benefits of this assistance in the first moments after the incident. However, the management of emergency psychological care is still developing and the organizations that provide it have very different protocols from each other. In this article, we aim to create a generic protocol for an eventual disaster in Spain. After reviewing the literature related to psychology in emergencies, and comparing the different protocols, a generic protocol has been created, adapting it to the Spanish territory. Subsequently, a consultation was carried out with experts on the key points of this protocol to correct its weaknesses. After this process, it’s concluded, on the one hand, that experts do not agree with inclusión of volunteer staff in emergency care, and on the other, that there is no exact formula for calculating the necessary staff.
