%X En el siguiente trabajo se propone explorar los comienzos históricos del vudú para comprender la formación del vudú haitiano, además de sus diferentes componentes. Posteriormente, una vez analizados los elementos constitutivos del vudú haitiano y los tipos de alma, se profundiza en la figura del zombi, su taxonomía y usos. Por último, se reflexiona sobre los procesos de zombificación como actos de poder ritual, control social y justicia informal.
%X In the following essay we proposed to explore the historical beginnings of voodoo to understand the formation of Haitian voodoo, and its different components. Subsequently, once the constituent elements of Haitian voodoo and the types of soul have been analyzed, we delve into the figure of the zombie, its taxonomy and uses. Finally, we reflect on the processes of zombification as acts of ritual power, social control and informal justice.
