RT Journal Article T1 Acute subdural hematoma secondary to distal middle cerebral artery aneurysm rupture in a newborn infant A1 Iza, Begoña A1 Mateo Sierra, Olga A1 Fortea, Fernando A1 Ruiz Juretschke, Fernando A1 Ruiz Martín, Yolanda AB The authors present the case of a peripheral aneurysmal lesion that developed in a newborn baby and was successfully treated by endovascular parent artery occlusion. Given the natural history of aneurysms, which are prone to rupture and to cause deleterious intracerebral hemorrhage, with high mortality rates, aggressive and early management (endovascular or surgical) is recommended.
