AB La Universidad Católica Portuguesa en Oporto posee una relevante colección de objetos culturales y artísticos, de distintas tipologías y procedencias, formado por objetos no directamente asociados a la enseñanza y la investigación de la institución, sino que han sido reunidos a través del tiempo, esencialmente, por vía de donación. Una cantidad significativa de estas colecciones fue objeto de estudio en una tesis de Máster en Conservación de Bienes Culturales, realizada en la Escola das Artes de la Universidad Católica Portuguesa, que consistió en el inventario e identificación del transcurso histórico de las obras, así como de la evaluación del estado de conservación de este expolio. Los alumnos de conservación y restauración de la Escola das Artes participan en el cuidado de las colecciones y han realizado algunas intervenciones en determinados objetos con problemas de conservación.
AB The Portuguese Catholic University in Oporto has a relevant collection of cultural and artistic objects, of distinct typologies and origins, formed by items not directly associated with the teaching and research activities of the institution, but that have been gathered over time, essentially through donation.       A significant amount of these collections was studied in a dissertation at the master degree of Conservation of Cultural Property, at the School of Arts of this University, which consisted of the inventory, identification of the historical background and assessment of the state of conservation of these objects.The students of Art, Conservation and Restoration degree of School of Arts have participated in the care of these collections, having realized some interventions in objects with conservations problems.
