%X Esta tesis doctoral es un análisis y reivindicación pública del Primer Congreso de Literatura Femenina Latinoamericano organizado en Santiago de Chile en 1987 durante el régimen militar de Augusto Pinochet.El objetivo general es reflexionar en torno a la producción literaria femenina chilena hasta la actualidad, construyendo un hilo narrativo que comienza con el congreso y, así, adentrarnos en una tradición de la que hoy poco se sabe. La idea apunta a identificar a aquellas mujeres que construyeron las bases de una narrativa posmoderna y las influencias con las que contribuyeron a partir de ello; identificar y agrupar las características fundamentales de las expositoras; examinar la situación de las escritoras chilenas; describir y profundizar en los simbolismos presentes en la narrativa femenina a partir de la literatura que hoy existe y que se manifiesta en distintos géneros literarios, y analizar y rescatar el aporte que las intelectuales han sembrado en el siglo que habitamos. Interesante es recalcar que el material que hoy existe proviene de una fuente directa: las mujeres protagonistas de estos hechos están en su mayoría vivas y han sido entrevistadas. %X This doctoral thesis is an analysis and public vindication of the First Conference of Latin American Feminine Literature, organized in Santiago, Chile in 1987 during the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet.The primary objective is to analyze Chilean feminine literary production through the present day, in order to build a narrative thread that starts with the conference and thoroughly explores a tradition about which little is known. The purpose is to identify the women who laid the foundations for postmodern narrative, and the influences that they had on the writers who followed them; to group and classify these speakers’ fundamental characteristics; to examine the situation of female Chilean writers; to describe and analyze the symbols found in feminine narratives across various literary genres; and to analyze and recover the contributions these intellectuals have made in our current century. Notably, the material being studied comes from a direct source: the female protagonists of events, who are in their majority still alive. That is perhaps the greatest achievement of the current work; the interviews carried out are of historical value...
