AB Henri Michaux (1899-1984), escritor y dibujante, exploró las posibilidades de conocimiento que otorgaban diversos estados alterados de conciencia. Entre otras investigaciones, en el período 1955-1960 experimentó con drogas psicodélicas, en especial la mescalina. Sus numerosos testimonios en forma gráfica (principalmente dibujos) y escrita (cuatro libros monográficos, más otros textos) conforman un corpus de primer orden para el análisis de las repercusiones de la alteración de la conciencia sobre la creación plástica y literaria. El artículo recurre en gran medida al cotejo de textos e imágenes de Michaux.
AB Henri Michaux (1899-1984), writer and draughtsman, explored the possibilities for knowledge offered by various altered states of consciousness. Among other investigations, in the period 1955-1960, he experimented with psychedelic drugs, notably mescaline. His numerous testimonials in graphic form (mainly drawings) and in writing (four monographs and other texts) make up a first-order body of work for the analysis of the repercussions of consciousness alteration in plastic and literary creation. The article restores in great measure to the comparison of texts and images by Michaux.
