%X El presente trabajo hablará de la situación actual del pueblo saharaui a raíz de la reactivación del conflicto el 13 de noviembre de 2020. Para ello, se procederá a contextualizar la historia del territorio desde el periodo colonial hasta el abandono por parte de España y la posterior guerra con Marruecos y Mauritania hasta 1991. Además, para comprender cómo se ha llegado a la situación actual, es necesario analizar los procesos fallidos del referéndum de autodeterminación.En la era de la información y en un mundo cada vez más globalizado, es muy importante analizar la posición de las potencias implicadas en el conflicto, como Estados Unidos en apoyo de Marruecos, Argelia en defensa del Frente Polisario, la Unión Europea, Naciones Unidas, la Unión Africana y España. El trabajo concluirá con una serie de entrevistas realizadas a jóvenes saharauis que cuentan su punto de vista sobre la reactivación del conflicto y su opinión sobre la posible solución. Finalmente, a raíz de las entrevistas y del análisis efectuado, expondré mi opinión personal y concluyente del trabajo sobre la reactivación del conflicto, la situación del pueblo saharaui y el desenlace que podría haber.
%X This paper will talk about the current situation of the Sahrawi people as a result of the reactivation of the conflict on November 13, 2020. To do this, we will proceed to contextualize the history of the territory from the colonial period to the abandonment by Spain and the subsequent war with Morocco and Mauritania until 1991. Furthermore, to understand how the current situation has come about, it is necessary to analyze the failed processes of the self-determination referendum.In the information age and in an increasingly globalized world, it is very important to analyze the position of the powers involved in the conflict, such as the United States in support of Morocco, Algeria in defense of the Polisario Front, the European Union, the United Nations, the African Union and Spain.The work will conclude with a series of interviews with young Sahrawis who tell their point of view on the reactivation of the conflict and their opinion on the possible solution. Finally, as a result of the interviews and the analysis carried out, I will present my personal and conclusive opinion of the work on the reactivation of the conflict, the situation of the Saharawi people and the outcome that could occur.
