T1 Public relations in Spain in 2002: antecedents, present situation and future tendencies

AB When in 1971 the Facultades de Ciencias de la Información (Schools of Communication), were created both at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, and at the Universid a d Autónoma of Barcelona, Spain, the public relations task began to a p p e a r. It was linked with other key elements: the industrial development, the university academy, and democracy (but the last at a later date after the death of Franco in 1975).
