T1 Radio 5: el formato todo noticias en la radio pública estatal

AB La investigación que se presenta trata de analizar no sólo la vida de una emisora y su incidencia en el mercado radiofónico a través de treinta años, en este caso Radio 5 TN, sino también la vigencia de una formula, la radio todo noticias, en el panorama de la radio española. Radio 5 TN nació en 1984 como una apuesta puramente informativa en un momento socio-político, los años finales de la transición, y en plena reorganización del país que salía de una larga etapa en que la información estaba, de una manera u otra controlada. Se trataba de fomentar la implantación de un nuevo tipo de medios de comunicación adaptados a la democracia, al tiempo que el terrorismo en lo político y la brutal inflación en lo económico, hacían de lo cotidiano noticia y el ciudadano deseaba, más que estar al día, informarse al momento. Han pasado desde aquel primer momento treinta años, y la sociedad, el radioyente típico, ha evolucionado y con él, lógicamente, la radio cuyos planteamientos actuales son diferentes. Los parámetros que inciden sobre la sociedad en este momento son muy otros sin embargo no se ha perdido, seguramente nos se perderá nunca, la necesidad de estar informado. La sociedad actual es frenética, con poco tiempo para dedicar a una determinada actividad y con una clara tendencia a aprovechar los tiempos muertos, lo cual no deja de ser un factor que se complementa muy bien con una radio dedicada sólo a la información pura y a aquellos servicios que necesite el ciudadano ocupado: información sobre tráfico, meteorología, espectáculos, en fin las útiles para la vida diaria...
AB This research tries to analyze not only the life of a station and its impact on the radio market through thirty years, in this case Radio 5 TN, but also the validity of a formula, all-news radio, in the framework of Spanish radio broadcasting. Radio 5 TN was born in 1984 as a purely informative radio station on the socio-political moment of the final years of the transition, and in full reorganization of the country emerging from a long period in which information was, in one way or another, controlled. The objective was to promote the establishment of a new type of media adapted to democracy, while political terrorism and a huge economic inflation made daily news and citizen wanted to keep up with current events. After thirty years, society and the typical listener have evolved and with them, of course, radio stations, whose current approaches are different. The parameters that affect society nowadays are others, however the necessity to be inforedis not lost, surely will remain. Society today is frenetic, with little time to devote to a particular activity and with a clear tendency to take advantage of downtime, which continues to be a factor that is well complemented with a radio dedicated to information only and those services needed by the busy citizen: traffic information, weather, entertainment, etc. In this context arises the question of research: is the Todo Noticias format ex haustedor not? Radio 5 Todo Noticias is a format that remain sonly as a testimony or fulfills a necessary social function and radio phonic. This work is essentially the story of Radio 5 TN, its social justification, but also a reflection on the need for a model of radio, all news, in nowadays Spain. Radio 5 Todo Noticias is a station that has been on air for over thirty years as a public service, providing immediate information; both news and public services information (traffic, weather, stock market, shows) for public that at certain point has come represent nearly a million listeners of certain characteristics...
