RT Journal Article T1 Cemento-ossifying fibroma of the upper gingivae A1 Martín Granizo, Rafael A1 Sánchez Cuéllar, Antonio A1 Falahat Noushzady, Farzin AB Cemento-ossifying fibroma is a benign fibro-osseous tumor belonging to the same category as fibrous dysplasia and cementossifying dysplasia . It is most commonly seen between the third and fourth decades of life, and is more frequent in women than in men (4:1).The most common location is the mandible, with 70-90% of all cases . Clinically, these tumors manifest as a slow-growing intrabony mass that is normally well delimited and asymptomaticthough over time the lesion may become large enough to cause facial deformation.Radiologically, depending on the degree of mineralization of the lesion cemento-ossifying fibroma shows a number of patterns. Manifesting as a well delimited unilocular lesion containing variable amounts of radiopaque material. Treatment comprises surgical resection of the lesion with enbloc resection and curettage of the bone bed. The aim of present study is to report a case of cemento-ossifying mandibular fibroma and offers a review of the literature on this disorder PB Wiley SN 0194-5998 YR 2000 FD 2000-05-28 LK https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14352/131420 UL https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14352/131420 LA eng NO Martín-Granizo R, Sanchez-Cuellar A, Falahat F.
