%X El objetivo de esta tesis es hallar la relación entre el símbolo del laberinto en las tres manifestaciones literarias que le han dado forma a través de la historia; a saber: el laberinto propiamente dicho, el maze y el rizoma y el paradigma interpretativo del contexto de cada una de ellas. Este estudio explora la forma en que el laberinto y sus formas han llegado a configurar el sistema de pensamiento de las manifestaciones artísticas y literarias específicas en diferentes épocas (desde finales del siglo XIX hasta nuestros días) y en diferentes medios (en literatura ‘analógica’ impresa y en literatura electrónica) en el corpus primario de fuentes literarias que aquí se analizan: Heart of Darkness (1899) de Joseph Conrad, “El jardín de caminos que se bifurcan” (1944) de Jorge Luis Borges, y Victory Garden (1991) de Stuart Moulthrop. %X The aim of this dissertation is to find the rapport between the symbol of the labyrinth in the three literary manifestations of the labyrinth itself, the maze and the rhizome and the interpretative paradigm of its specific context. This study explores the way the labyrinth and its subsequent forms have come to shape the system of thought of the specific artistic and literary manifestations in different times (in the late 19th century to the present day) and in different media (in printed ‘analogical’ literature and in electronic literature) with a special focus on the literary corpus of this study: Heart of Darkness (1899) by Joseph Conrad, “The Garden of Forking Paths” (1944) by Jorge Luis Borges, and Victory Garden (1991) by Stuart Moulthrop. In order to reach this objective, this dissertation has, in the first place, followed a comparative approach to literature. This approach allows to compare different pieces of literature on the basis of their resemblances and differences as regards the topic that they have in common: the image of the labyrinth under its various forms..
