AB En este artículo se pasa revista a la elevación institucional que el heredero de la Corona tiene en Francia e Inglaterra a partir de mediados del siglo XIV, y como culmina el proceso recibiendo el derecho de acuñar moneda. Los casos analizados son muy distintos, ya que la situación política, institucional y jurídica era muy diferente, la del Príncipe Negro es la excepcionalidad, mientras que la del Delfín muestra un intento de permanencia y continuidad, siendo la de Carlos de Viana un ejemplo de lucha por el poder y reivindicación de sus derechos, algo parecido a lo que hizo Isabel de Castilla.
AB This items studies the institutional enhancement that the heir of the Crown wins in France and England from the middle of the XIVth century, which included the right to coin. The many cases brought as examples are as different as the political situation where they took place: while that of the Black Prince was an exception, that of the Dauphin enjoied a certain continuity. Charles of Viana was a perfect example of the struggle for power and vindication of rights, and this example was followed by Isabel of Castile.
