%X This paper aims to study the protection of third parties in Spanish criminal proceedings. In particular, it analyses the status and rights of third parties in criminal investigations, the adoption of pre-trial measures, the criminal trial, the decision-making process, appeals and the execution and effects of criminal judgments. Special attention is given to the recent case law of the Constitutional Court in this area.
