AB Cada vez más trabajos han destacado la importancia creciente que tienen los líderes en las democracias parlamentarias. En España incluso se ha llegado a afirmar que su influencia es una de las características principales del sistema político español. En este caso queremos comprobar si el papel que juegan los líderes en el nivel autonómico es semejante al que juegan en el nivel nacional, o si por el contrario las características de determinadas comunidades autónomas hacen que la relevancia de estos disminuya. Para ello vamos a estudiar hasta qué punto la valoración de los líderes ha condicionado el voto en las últimas elecciones autonómicas de tres CC.AA. con unas características singulares que las diferencian del resto: Galicia, País Vasco y Cataluña.
AB The relevance of leaders in parliamentary democracy has been highlighted in a growing number of studies. In Spain it has even been argued that their influence is one of the main features of the Spanish political system. Here we test whether the role of leaders at the regional level is similar to the one they play at the national level or if their relevance decreases due to the characteristics of certain Autonomous Communities. For that end we will study to what extent the evaluation of the leaders has influenced the vote in the recent elections held in Galicia, Basque Country and Catalonia, the three autonomous communities whose unique characteristics differentiate them from the rest (other AA. CC.)
