AB La estafa del amor se ha convertido en uno de los ciberdelitos más relevantes. El número de víctimas afectadas por este tipo de estafa se ha incrementado gracias al uso de aplicaciones de citas online. Sin embargo, el elemento clave en la estafa amorosa continúa siendo el engaño. La búsqueda del amor y la soledad determinan una relación posicional especial entre autor y víctima y la capacidad de un engaño burdo para provocar error en la víctima y causar el perjuicio patrimonial. Además, la naturaleza del engaño en la estafa amorosa puede causar otro tipo de perjuicios

NO Romance Scam has became one of the most relevant cybercrimes. The number of victims affected by this swindle has increased due to the use on online apps. However, the key element of the romance scam continues to be deception. The search for love and loneliness determine the special positional relationship between the perpetrator and the victim. It also determines the ability of crude deception to cause error to the victim and cause financial damage. In addition, the nature of the deception in romance scam can cause victims other type of non-financial damages that are not taken into account when determining civil liability arising from the crime.
