RT Journal Article T1 Correlación de alta resolución del Campaniense-Maastrichtiense, Pirineos sud-centrales A1 Vicens, E. A1 Àrdevol, Lluís A1 López Martínez, Nieves A1 Arribas Mocoroa, María Eugenia AB A regressive succesion ot deltaic, shoreface, and continental strata characterized the deposition during the Campanian-Maatrichtian time in the foreland basin of the south-central Pyrenees. This work introduces a high-resolution stratigraphic framework among these strata along the different structural sectors of the eastern part of the basin. The framework is based on the reocgnition and section. These horizons, named after their most characterisitc species, have been correlated with planctonic foraminifera biozones following a shelf-to-basin stratigraphic cross-section. We conclude that these rudist horizons are valid as biostratigraphic markers. PB Sociedad Geológica de España.
