AB Presenta resultados parciales de investigación titulada "Desafíos y Alternativas Digitales para la Salvaguardia y Difusión del Patrimonio Documental Archivístico Audiovisual Público", segunda fase de la investigación (2013-2016). La primera fase de la investigación se llevó a cabo en 2005-2007. Los datos de documentación archivística audiovisual en instituciones públicas de distintas ciudades Brasileñas son compartidos en www.cridi.ufba.ici.br, sitio del Grupo CRIDI de estudio e investigación. El paso actual está todavía en curso, pero ya nos permite acceder, parcialmente, datos de nuevas instituciones. En este paso de la investigación es posible el acceso a contenidos sobre trabajos realizados, textos y relevantes eventos relacionados con la preservación audiovisual, entre otros. Otro resultado de la investigación es el "Legatum", una plataforma digital de alcance internacional, en continuo desarrollo, basada en protocolos abiertos, para reunir y compartir información sobre las colecciones/fondos audiovisuales y iconográficas custodiadas por las instituciones públicas, con posibilidad de almacenar representantes digitales de los documentos componentes de las colecciones/fondos. El objetivo es reunir datos de instituciones públicas de países de cultura aproximada, en este caso los países de Cultura Latina que custodien documentos audiovisuales y fondos y colecciones en las que estos documentos están vinculados. Para el proyecto, se consideró sólo los países que tienen las siguientes lenguas oficiales: Portugués, Español, Catalán, Gallego, Francés, Italiano y Rumano. El Legatum está basado en el software libre AtoM (ex-ICA-AtoM), siguiendo el estándar internacional para describir las instituciones con documentos archivísticos y el estándar internacional de Descripción General para las descripciones de sus documentos archivísticos, teniendo como objetivo la preservación y la salvaguardia del patrimonio audiovisual público, en una propuesta de acción colectiva y de colaboración, abierta a la participación de instituciones y investigadores interesados.
AB It presents partial results of a research entitled “Digital Challenges and Alternatives for the Safeguarding and Dissemination of Public Audiovisual Archival Heritage”, which is the second phase of the research (2013-2016). The first phase of the research was conducted in 2005-2007. The data about archival audiovisual documentation in public institutions of various Brazilian cities are shared in www.cridi.ufba.ici.br, site of the Research Group CRIDI. The current step of the research is still in progress, but already allows us to access, partially, data about new institutions. In this step of the research it is possible to access the content about works, texts, and relevant events related to audiovisual preservation, among others. Another result of the research is the “Legatum”, a digital platform of international scope, in continuous development, based on open protocols, to gather and share information about audiovisual and iconographic collections from public institutions, with the possibility of storing digital representatives of those documents. The aim is to gather data from public institutions of countries of approximate culture, as is the case of Latin culture countries which keep audiovisual documents, archival fonds, and other collections in which those documents are linked. For the project, were considered only the countries that have the following languages: Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, Galician, French, Italian, and Romanian. The Legatum is based on AtoM free software (ex-ICA-AtoM), according to the international standard for describing institutions with archival documents descriptions, looking at the public audiovisual heritage preservation and safeguarding, in a proposed collective action and collaboration, open to the participation of interested institutions and researchers.
