AB Esta colaboración es el resultado de la realización de numerosos análisis de programas de televisión que estudian las nuevas modalidades expresivas que ha adoptado la televisión en España durante los últimos años y que exploran sus posibilidades y limitaciones. El artículo presenta una reflexión a propósito de la virtualidad de la televisión, en concreto de los programas de telerrealidad, como instrumento de aprendizaje social. Estos programas parten de la realidad de la mano, principalmente, de sujetos anónimos, pero con un tratamiento basado en la espectacularización que los aleja de ella: son una construcción mediática y social no exenta de valores e ideología.[ABSTRACT] This paper is the result of making various analysis of different telelvision programmes which studythe new kinds of expression that the spanish television has adopted during the last years, and which investigate its posibilities and limits. The article reflects about the virtuality of the television, reality programmes in particular, as an instrument of social learning. This programmes start from the reality of the hand basically on anonym people, but with a treatment based on the spectacularization which distances them from it: they are a social and mediatic construction not exempt from values andideology.
