T1 Voces caleidoscópicas. Desafíos y potencialidades de la etnografía colaborativa en el trabajo con comunicadores indígenas

AB En este artículo presento una reflexión epistemológica y metodológica que surge tras hacer trabajo de campo etnográfico con comunicadores indígenas (mapuche) en Chile desde 2012 hasta la actualidad. Se detallan los entresijos de las condiciones de producción, circulación y recepción de la producción etnográfica realizada con periodistas mapuche con el fin de contribuir a la discusión sobre las potencialidades y los desafíos de la descolonización de la investigación y de la posibilidad de realizar etnografías colaborativas. Las etnografías colaborativas dan al científico la posibilidad de imaginar a un “otro” de forma horizontal y a sí mismo con una actitud reflexiva, pero para ello, hay que superar los desafíos que dinamitan la posibilidad de estructurar la co-labor etnográfica. Esta reflexión aborda precisamente esos desafíos con miras a poder superarlos.
AB In this article I expose an epistemological and methodological reflection that arises after making ethnographic fieldwork with indigenous (mapuche) journalists in Chile from 2012 to the present. I reflect about the intricacies of the conditions of production, circulation and reception of ethnographic texts made by Mapuche journalists in order to contribute to the discussion about the challenges of decolonization of academic knowledge and the possibility of making collaborative ethnographies. Collaborative ethnographies give the scientist the opportunity to conceive and work with an “other” horizontally. But for this, we must overcome the challenges that are dynamiting co-llaborative works, such as gender, class and status based tensions between the subject of study (now counterpart) and the ethnographer.
