AB El propósito del trabajo ha sido rescatar y editar la correspondencia relacionada con los años porteños de Francisco Ayala. Las 47 cartas que forman parte del corpus se han recogido entre Buenos Aires, Madrid y Granada, y reflejan la correspondencia mantenida con lo más selecto de la intelectualidad argentina y española del siglo XX –desde Manuel Gálvez, Lorenzo Luzuriaga, Corpus Barga, Francisco Romero, por ejemplo-. Además, se han analizado las cartas contraponiéndolas a su Autobiografía(s), explorando los distintos testimonios que existen en ambas.
AB The purpose of the study has been to recover and edit Francisco Ayala´s correspondence over his years in Buenos Aires. The 47 letters that are part of the corpus were collected in Buenos Aires, Madrid and Granada. These are the correspondence he maintained with the elite of Argentine and Spanish intellectuals of the twentieth century, such as Manuel Gálvez, Lorenzo Luzuriaga, Corpus Barga and Francisco Romero. In addition, we have analyzed the letters setting them againts the Ayala´s autobiography, exploring the various testimonies that appear in both of them.
