%X Esta tesis investiga la poesía como escrito filosófico. La vértebra teórica del trabajo viene del pensamiento español y recurre a María Zambrano y a sus grandes maestros para establecer la posibilidad y la necesidad de considerar la poesía como escrito filosófico. Una vez que queda establecido esta posibilidad y necesidad, se centra en la época de la postguerra, más concretamente, en la promoción de poetas conocida como La primera promoción de la Postguerra. Procede con un primer acercamiento a esta promoción examinando sus influencias filosóficas, donde se ve la huella que dejan algunas corrientes de pensamiento en la obra de estos poetas e incluso cómo se reflejan en su propia vida, en su experiencia vital, poesía y planteamientos teoréticos (metafísicos, axiológicos, teológicos…). En la primera promoción el poeta que se destaca por su poesía y su pensamiento es José Luis Hidalgo. Esta tesis concluye con un análisis filosófico de su último poemario Los Muertos, en el cual se expresa de modo destacado la riqueza y las aportaciones del pensamiento existencialista que rige en la poesía de dicho autor. En una investigación preliminar de la bibliografía de Hidalgo, hay dos investigadores que han hecho estudios sobre José Luis Hidalgo, Aurelio García Cantalapiedra y Francisco Ruiz Soriano, en ambos se percatan del mayor alcance filosófico de ese autor y aunque no profundizan en ello ofrecen sugerencias importantes sobre ello. Partiendo del trabajo de estos y otros investigadores y basando la tesis en el pensamiento de María Zambrano, el trabajo se proceda al análisis filosófico de la obra de José Luis Hidalgo. La relación que establece Zambrano entre Filosofía y la Poesía permite a un acercamiento al universo estético y existencial que nos traslada la obra del poeta filósofo, y por tanto su aportación a la vigencia de la Filosofía existencialista en España.
%X This dissertation investigates poetry as a philosophical writing. The theoretical backbone of the work comes from Spanish Thought and draws from Maria Zambrano and from some of her great teachers in order to establish the possibility and the necessity to consider poetry as a philosophical writing.  Once established this possibility and necessity, the dissertation centers on the Post Spanish Civil War era, more concisely, on the group of poets known as The First Promotion of the Postwar.  It proceeds with the first encounter of this promotion examining their philosophical influences and the mark that other schools of thought have left in the work of these poets including the references in their own lives, vital experiences, poetry and theoretical approaches (metaphysical axiological, theological…). In the First Promotion the poet that stands out for his poetry and thought is Jose Luis Hidalgo.  This dissertation concludes with a philosophical analysis of his last book of poems Los Muertos, in which he expresses in an outstanding manner the richness and contributions of existentialist thought that reins in the his poetry.  In a preliminary investigation of the bibliography of Hidalgo, there are two scholars that have done studies about Jose Luis Hidalgo; they are Aurelio Garcia Cantalapierda y Fracisco Ruiz Soriano. Both realize the major philosophical advances of Hidalgo and although they dońt delve deeper into this, they offer important suggestions of it. Building on the work of these and other scholars and grounding the dissertation in Maria Zambranós thought, the dissertation proceeds to the philosophical analysis of Jose Luis Hidalgós work.  The relation that is established by Zambrano en Philosophy and Poetry permits an approach of the esthetic and existential universe that the work of the philosophical poet takes us to and therefore his contribution to the validity of the Existentialist Philosophy in Spain.
