AB La presente investigación tiene como objeto el análisis de los mecanismos discursivos y retóricos empleados por el político Deng Xiaoping en sus discursos durante el periodo denominado “Reforma y apertura” (1978-1992), mediante los cuales consiguió cambiar el rumbo de la economía China, distanciándose del periodo anterior,representado por la influencia de Mao Zedong y el periodo de la Revolución Cultural. Deng Xiaoping representa la figura de un dirigente que supo cambiar el estilo de comunicación con los agentes intervinientes en la política de China: los expertos, los cuadros del partido y las masas populares.En nuestro trabajo comprobamos cómo gran parte de su éxito fue su capacidad comunicativa mediante la cual supo adecuarse a sus interlocutores y hacerles llegar sus mensajes de renovación económica y transformación del país y su mentalidad de apertura hacia el desarrollo económico...
AB The purpose of this research is to analyze the discursive and rhetorical mechanisms used by the politician Deng Xiaoping in his speeches during the period called “Chinese Reform and Opening-up” (1978-1992), through which he managed to change the course of the Chinese economy, distancing itself from the previous period, represented by the influence of Mao Zedong and the period of the Cultural Revolution. Deng Xiaoping represents the figure of a leader who knew how to change the style of communication with the intervening agents in China's politics: the experts, the party cadres and the popular masses. In our work we see how much of his success was his communicative ability through which he knew how to adapt to his interlocutors and send them his messages of economic renewal and transformation of the country and his openness mentality towards economic development...
